Overview
Lauranka New Zealand Ltd supplies professional workplace timekeeping equipment to New Zealand businesses.
We are committed to clear communication, honest representation, and fair dealing, so customers know exactly what they are purchasing and what to expect after purchase.
This policy applies to all online purchases made through our Shopify store and should be read alongside our Conditions of Sale.
⚠️ Before You Buy
Please ensure you understand the products you are purchasing and the features they offer before placing an order.
Product functionality, setup requirements, and included features are described on each product page.
If you have any questions, or are unsure whether a product is suitable for your workplace or requirements, please don’t hesitate to contact us before ordering — we’re happy to help.
❌ Change-of-Mind Returns
Due to the professional nature of our products:
We do not offer refunds for change of mind
This includes:
- Ordering the wrong product
- Deciding the product is no longer required
- Ordering without confirming suitability
- Misunderstanding product operation after purchase
We strongly encourage customers to contact us prior to ordering if clarification is required.
✅ Faulty or Defective Products
If a product is faulty or does not operate as intended:
- Notify us within a reasonable time after receipt
- We may request troubleshooting steps or return-to-base (RTB) inspection
- All products are covered by a 12-month warranty (unless otherwise stated)
Where a fault is confirmed:
- We will repair or replace the product at our discretion
- Refunds are provided only where repair or replacement is not reasonably possible
Warranty repairs are handled on a Return-to-Base (RTB) basis during normal business hours.
🚚 Shipping Damage
If your order arrives damaged:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photos of the packaging and product
- Do not use the product until advised
We will assess and arrange repair or replacement where appropriate.
🔄 Returns Process
Before returning any item:
- Contact us at sales@lauranka.co.nz or 0800 77 99 00
- Obtain return authorisation
- Securely package the product for return
Unless the product is confirmed faulty:
- Return freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser
Unauthorised returns may be refused.
💳 Refund Method
Approved refunds (where applicable) will be processed:
- To the original payment method
- Within a reasonable timeframe after inspection and approval
Original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless required under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
🇳🇿 Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA)
If you are purchasing as a consumer under New Zealand law, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act apply and are not limited by this policy.
If you are purchasing for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply to the extent permitted by law.
